If you know NASCAR, you know being in the garages during practice or on pit row when the race starts is a luxury few fans get to experience in their lifetime. But, that’s exactly what the winners of the Professionals’ Choice Auto Parts Weekend at the Races Sweepstakes experienced during Race 3 for the Cup at Kansas Speedway.

This summer, participating Professionals’ Choice Warehouse Distributors gave every customer who purchased a product from one of the sponsoring manufacturers an entry form for a chance at winning a “Weekend at the Races.”

The winners this year included Robert Picarelli from Robert’s Auto in New Milford, Conn., Tony Sanelli from Scott’s U Save Tires in Steger, Ill., and Mike Standiford of Axle and Wheel Aligning Co. in Wichita, Kan.

Winners were chosen at random by being drawn out of a big golden tumbler by Automotive Parts Associates President Dan Freeman.

The manufacturers who sponsored this year’s sweepstakes were Moog, Exide, Delphi, Shell Lubricants, Four Seasons, Standard Engine Performance Specialists, Bosch, Airtex Fuel Pumps, ASC Industries, Bendix, Fram, Denso, Dorman, Autolite, KYB and Wagner Brake Products.

“The last three years we’ve conducted this sweepstakes participation has grown on both the WD and manufacturer sides and we’re thrilled that the value of our sweepstakes is being realized.” says Bill Cook, vice president of program development.
