“Spring is an exciting time for people, and Car Care Month is the best way to remind our customers to pay a little extra attention to their cars after the long winter season,” said Jeff Ventura, vice president of digital strategy for the Bar’s Products family of brands. "This year, we want to make it as easy as possible for people to be proactive about their cars with our special Car Care kits. We hope these kits help people create strong maintenance routines for their cars, especially as they get ready for the summer months ahead.”

Bar’s Leaks and Rislone products are made specifically for the DIY automotive repair and performance markets. This contest represents an ongoing commitment by both brands to promote easy and affordable DIY solutions for at-home car repair and maintenance.

Car Care Month, run by the Car Care Council, is an initiative to teach people about routines and products they can use to maintain their cars for longer periods of time. According to industry calculations, the average age of a vehicle on the road is about 11 years  in other words, people are holding on to their cars for longer. And with the harsh winters many have experienced the past two years, it is important to teach consumers to be “car-care aware” and provide them with the best maintenance and repair products in the industry.

Bar’s Leaks and Rislone are aftermarket chemical car products operating under the parent company, Bar’s Products. Both brands have a combined 160 years of chemical engineering experience and were the original technology innovators in their respective categories.
