DENSO Sales California has made significant improvements to its 2009 First Time Fit® compressor program.

“In response to customer requests, we converted our compressor program from mostly remanufactured to predominantly new compressors, and we reduced pricing across the entire line,” says Fran Labun, vice president, Sales Group, DENSO Sales California. “DENSO is one of the largest compressor suppliers in the world, and we are confident these enhancements will make our lineup even more attractive.”

New compressors now account for 84 percent of DENSO’s compressor line-up, compared to 36 percent in 2008.  The conversion from remanufactured to new involves 148 model 10PA and 10S compressors and include popular makes such as Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar and Land Rover.

Sixty-one part numbers were added to the program covering 969 applications for more than 11 million import and domestic vehicles, according to DENSO. Applications include Honda Element, Pilot, Ridgeline; Toyota Camry, Sienna, Yaris, Avalon; Scion TC; Subaru Legacy and Outback.  Other program improvements include the addition of late model Toyota, Lexus, Honda and Acura applications and key part number consolidations.

DENSO modified pricing to make its program more competitive in today’s demanding aftermarket environment.  This overhaul, coupled with the conversion from remanufactured to new, makes DENSO compressors the most attractive choice for distributors, technicians and vehicle owners.
