Chief Automotive Technologies, which manufactures collision repair products and services, has retained Simpson Communications, LLC, to handle its public relations activities in North and South America.

Earlier this year, Chief was incorporated into a new Dover Industries holding company, Vehicle Service Group (VSG), which also encompasses several vehicle lift brands, including Rotary Lift. Simpson Communications has been the public relations agency for Rotary Lift since 2005.

“Simpson Communications has proven to be a valuable partner for Rotary Lift over the last four years,” says John Rylee, VSG director of marketing. “We look forward to putting the agency’s expertise to work helping us deliver our message about Chief quality.”

Chief is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of frame-pulling equipment, vehicle anchoring systems and computerized measuring systems. The company works closely with OEMs and develops its own detailed vehicle frame specifications to ensure accurate Design Based Repairs. “Chief has been a leader in the collision repair industry since 1972,” says Kristen Simpson, president of Simpson Communications. “We’re excited to have the opportunity to help enhance and promote Chief’s market perception among editors and end-users.”
