Hahn Automotive Warehouse Inc., a Rochester, New York based corporation and Carparts Distribution Center, Inc., a Plaistow, New Hampshire-based company, have signed a definitive agreement for Hahn to acquire Carparts. Both Hahn and Carparts are warehouse distributors of aftermarket automotive parts. Stan Lewis, Carparts' president, will continue with the company following the completion of the transaction. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close on or about Dec. 27, 2021, were not disclosed.
Carparts is a warehouse distributor of aftermarket auto parts with its main warehouse location in Plaistow, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. Hahn and Carparts are both members of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc., a leading international buying and marketing association. Hahn decided to acquire Carparts based on Carparts performance as a well-managed company with a commitment to growth and customer service in the New England market.
