Sterling Autobody awards collision student scholarships and tool grants

Sterling Autobody has awarded $27,000 in collision student scholarships and tool grants through the Collision Repair Education Foundation.

Sterling Autobody has awarded $27,000 in collision student scholarships and tool grants through the Collision Repair Education Foundation. This support will provide the students with both the financial assistance to complete their technical education and provide the necessary tools for the students to be capable and efficient members of the collision industry upon graduation.

The student winners of the 2013 spring Sterling Autobody include: 

  • Oscar Casas-Barajas -Cypress College (Cypress, Calif.); Award: $2,500 scholarship and $3,000 tool grant. 
  • Adalberto Cardenas -Kennedy King College (Chicago); Award: $2,500 scholarship and $3,000 tool grant. 
  • Tommy Love -Monroe2Orleans BOCES (Spencerport, N.Y.); Award: $2,500 scholarship and $3,000 tool grant. 
  • Jose Zavala -Central County Occupational Center (San Jose, Calif.); Award: $2,500 scholarship and $3,000 tool grant. 
  • Keith Totten -Lake Tech Center (Eustis, Fla.); Award: $2,000 scholarship. 
  • Amanda Johnson -Weber State University (Ogden, Utah); Award: $1,000 scholarship. 
  • Shawn Durante - Lake Tech Center (Eustis, Fla.); Award: $1,000 scholarship.
