The 2012 GRAND-AM season kicks off at Daytona International Speedway for the 50th running of the Rolex 24 At Daytona, January 26 - 29.  Over 100 entrants across both the Rolex Sports Car and Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series' will race on Continental tires and we are pleased to take our fans along for the ride via our social media channels.
 
"We applaud GRAND-AM for 50 years of the Rolex 24 At Daytona," says Travis Roffler, director of marketing, Continental Tire.  "The 24 Hour race is such a special race but to be a part of the 50th is extremely cool.  There are so many great drivers, teams and story lines this year and we want to help capture that for those that can't be there.  The Continental Tire team will be at Daytona throughout the weekend posting photos, videos and updates to all our social media channels.  And more importantly, we're looking to engage in some great conversations with our fans throughout the race weekend."

Continental Tire is proud to be the official tire of GRAND-AM Road Racing as well as the title sponsor of the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series.  As the official tire supplier, Continental Tire will transport 12,000 tires on 17 transporters to the 50th anniversary race.  The 85-member Continental team will process over 200 tires per hour during peak times and the team is ready to supply both slicks and rain tires, should weather play a factor.  A spectacular effort as this years' field of competitors prepare to drive their car to victory lane.
