DynoMax® performance exhaust has added horsepower, torque and drone-free performance to a pair of new systems for the two editions of the 2010 Ford Mustang. Available now at performance retailers nationwide, the kits include an axle-back system (Part no. 38488) for 2010 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L V8s and a cat-back system (Part no. 38503) for 2010 Ford Mustang 4.0L V6s.

The axle-back system for the 2010 Ford Mustang GT 4.0L V8s (p/n 38488) includes a pair of DynoMax®  VT® mufflers, an innovative muffler design that features a precisely calibrated, patented internal valve that ensures maximum performance and provides a drone-free experience inside the vehicle. The DynoMax VT muffler – engineered to deliver DynoMax’s trademark “Drone-Free Performance™” – is a welded stainless steel muffler that also includes an entire set of design enhancements to help increase horsepower and performance. The mufflers, combined with 2.5-in., OE-grade, 409 stainless steel piping and a pair of 4-in. double wall, slant cut, logo-embossed steel tips, deliver an increase in 18 horsepower and 17-ft. lbs. of torque over the stock system.

Boosting horsepower by 11 and adding 11-ft. lbs. of torque, the cat-back system for the 2010 Ford Mustang 4.0L V6 (p/n 38503) includes a pair of stainless steel DynoMax VT® mufflers and a set of 4-in. double wall, slant cut, logo-embossed stainless steel tips. Each cat-back system also features 2.5-in., high-quality, OE-grade, 409 stainless steel piping that provides extended protection against corrosion.

Each DynoMax kit includes OE-quality hangers, brackets and accessories plus detailed installation instructions for simple, fast installation.
