The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of the People’s Republic of China announced the winners of the National Green Manufacturers Award and Winhere Auto-Part Manufacturing Co. Ltd is an honored recipient of this national award.
The awards are part of China’s aggressive Industrial Green Development Plan to recognize those key China manufacturers from the top six energy consuming industries that meet and exemplify the MIIT standards established for green manufacturing. The plan focuses on improving energy efficiency and technical capabilities, reducing pollution and emissions and accelerating green manufacturing systems.
Only 409 companies out of several million China manufacturers were honored with this distinction. “We are thrilled that our parent company is the only brake parts manufacturer in China to receive this honor”, said Jimmy Shum, President Winhere Brake Parts Inc. “Protecting the environment and preserving our precious resources has always been a foundation rooted in our company.
