Transmaxx was founded earlier this year by industry veterans Monte Ahuja and Neil Sethi, who is Monte’s son-in-law. Ahuja, Transmaxx’s Chairman of the Board, is an entrepreneur and philanthropist who formerly grew a two person start-up in 1975 into the largest transmission parts distributor in the world, earning awards for outstanding growth.

Tom DeMille, Vice President of Sales and Marketing says, “We are very excited to bring our customer driven philosophies, quality products, and unique service offerings to the greater Boston area.”

The new location is located at 90 Glenn St. Suite 300, in the city of Lawrence. The facility is off of Interstate 93, which gives ideal access to service customers with same day delivery in Boston proper and all major surrounding areas. The facility will be headed by Marc Fortier, a 30-year industry veteran and native to the Boston area.

“I’m very excited to provide my hometown with Transmaxx products and services” Fortier says. “The passion that Transmaxx has for its customers is something that really resonates with me.”

Transmaxx offers a comprehensive line of quality automotive transmission kits and components sourced from the leading OEM and aftermarket manufacturers in the world.
