Parts Authority opens new location in California

Parts Authority announced the addition of a new Parts Authority store in El Cajon, Calif. Parts Authority has grown its business from one location in 1973 to more than 90 locations in eight different regions.

Eric Schwartz, VP of West Coast Operation, said, “The opening of this store will provide Parts Authority a stronger presence in the marketplace and will expand our regional footprint.”

Parts Authority was founded in 1973 with one location on Long Island and has become one of the largest distributors of automotive and truck parts on the East Coast and is growing nationally. Headquartered in Lake Success, N.Y., Parts Authority has more than 90 locations across New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington D.C., Georgia, Ohio, Arizona and California. Parts Authority is a member of the National Pronto Association, a national buying co-op of aftermarket auto parts distributors. The company is led by CEO Randy Buller and a management team with much industry experience. Parts Authority has made multiple acquisitions in the past several years, including expanding into California through the acquisition of Metropolitan Automotive Warehouse and into Ohio through the acquisition of World Auto Parts.
