NGK Spark Plugs names new GM

NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) announced the recent addition of Cal Coburn to General Manager, Aftermarket Division.

NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) announced the recent addition of Cal Coburn to General Manager, Aftermarket Division.

Coburn, a 29-year veteran in the automotive aftermarket industry, previously held the position of Sales Manager at Trico Products Corporation, a manufacturer of windshield wiping systems. Coburn will oversee NGK’s Aftermarket Division, and lead business strategies for NGK/NTK products within the U.S. automotive aftermarket. Coburn will report to Michael Schwab, Senior Vice President of Aftermarket Sales and Marketing.

In addition to serving OE automotive and aftermarket customers, NGK also produces spark plugs for motorcycle, power sports, marine and small engine manufacturers. NGK also offers complimentary product lines including resistor caps, spark plug wires and high performance cables. 
In North America, NGK is headquartered in Wixom, Mich., and maintains manufacturing, inventory and distribution facilities in Irvine, Calif., Sissonville, W. Va., and Chicago.
