National Pronto Association added Professional Parts Inc. to the Pronto membership effective Oct. 1, 2016,
Professional Parts was established in 2004 after the acquisition of Precision CertiPro by Rich Johnston Sr. Johnston, a former employee of Precision, wanted to keep the Precision family of employees intact and use the talents of each employee to help grow the business, which was renamed Professional Parts.
Johnston’s sons; Rich Jr. and Steve came on board shortly after the acquisition to help grow the business. Professional Parts is based in Pittsburgh and services the greater Pittsburgh area with branches in Carnegie and the North Hills area of Pittsburgh.
National Pronto Association is a North American shareholder owned organization headquartered in Grapevine, Texas. Pronto was formed in 1979 and is a leading program distribution group with more than $2 billion in sales, with a focus on marketing, technology and buying. National Pronto is a founding member of the Automotive Parts Services Group and a global partner of 1Parts.
