Ed Nork joins ATP Professional Auto Parts to head operations, quality

  ATP Professional Auto Parts hired Ed Nork as Senior Vice President of Operations and Quality. He will head all of ATP’s operations, including its distribution center and customer service.

ATP Professional Auto Parts hired Ed Nork as Senior Vice President of Operations and Quality. He will head all of ATP’s operations, including its distribution center as well as customer service.

Prior to joining ATP, Nork served as a global business process consultant to numerous Fortune 500 companies, specializing in manufacturing, fulfillment, and sales operations. He learned and perfected his quality and process credentials during his decade-long tenure at General Electric, where he earned a Six Sigma Black Belt and Master Black Belt and served as Vice President of Quality, Master Black Belt, Global Sales Operations Director and a sales leader. 

“Ed’s expertise as a continuous improvement consultant able to implement key performance indicators, processes and leadership dashboards is a valuable asset for ATP,” said Roy Lipner, President and Chief Executive Officer of ATP. “We are very pleased to have him on board.”

Nork added, “I am very excited about the future of ATP.  Instilling a process excellence mindset will position ATP to grow and expand our offerings, while fulfilling customer orders to industry-leading fill rates. Efficiencies we gain in operations, manufacturing, procurement and shipping all translate to value for our customers.”

Nork earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering from New England College.
