Chrysler Group LLC honored Shell Lubricants as the 2012 Supplier of the Year for its collaboration with Mopar, Chrysler’s service, parts and customer-care brand.
The recognition came during Chrysler’s 3rd Annual Strategy Meeting and Supplier Awards Ceremony held June 5, 2013 at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan. The honor was bestowed based on the company’s commitment to sustainable development, honesty, integrity and superior delivery of quality, cost, supply and innovation.

"This award validates our mission to collaborate closely with customers throughout the design phase of new technologies to provide effective lubricants to help them develop and grow their business successfully. This is a team effort with hundreds of individuals within Shell that touch the Chrysler/Mopar account and work diligently to achieve the success as evidenced by this honor.”
Award recipients were determined based on an evaluation of each company’s External Balanced Scorecard performance in 2012 – a rating system that evaluates supplier performance in areas such as quality, delivery, cost, warranty and partnership – and input from Chrysler Group senior leadership.

Shell Lubricants also supplies the Chrysler Aftermarket Mopar oil program with premium Mopar, Pennzoil, and Shell engine oils for Chrysler Group vehicles and competitive makes around the world.
