This week five hundred shop owners, service technicians, Automotive Parts Associates WDs and suppliers are enjoying some time in Cancun, Mexico as participants in the 2016 Professionals’ Choice SunSplash trip.
Held biennially, SunSplash is a loyalty program offered through Automotive Parts Associates members.
“Our customers love coming on these trips. Not only do they enjoy getting away to warm venues in the winter, but they get to know our other customers and it’s become like a happy family reunion.” said Rob Jacobs, President of Automotive Warehouse Co., Wichita, Kan.
Promoted as a loyalty program, shop owners who purchase from APA members earn loyalty points towards the cost of the trip and WDs who purchase from the supporting manufacturers earn additional rebates.
In addition to four nights, five days at the all-inclusive Live Aqua Resort in Cancun, attendees have enjoyed a group outing to EXPLOR and a party where $10,000 in cash and prizes were given away, according to Gary Martin, President & CEO, Automotive Parts Associates.
