LAS VEGAS — The Automotive Distribution Network kicked off AAPEX by welcoming representatives from 50 Auto Pride members. The group gathered for a breakfast meeting at the Venetian, prior to the opening of the show, to review new programs available to the membership.
On the agenda for this year’s meeting were several new programs including a revamped Automotive Service Experts program, as well as, new IT initiatives such as STRATUS and SOPHIO.
The Network also highlighted its strategic partnership with Federal-Mogul Motorparts by introducing its new Garage Gurus/Network University technical support and education program. During a rousing presentation by Garage Gurus’ Anthony Frohwein, the renowned tech expert explained how The Network University initiative will enable Auto Pride’s service dealer customers to continually become better-trained, talented, informed techs through world-class support and training workshops that are accessible onsite, online and on-demand.
“Through this innovative program, Garage Gurus will not only host advanced workshops exclusively for your group’s technicians at our state-of-the-art facilities, but we will also hit the road to bring hands-on technical training to Network service dealers through regional events nationwide,” Frohwein says. “By design, Network U can utilize multiple formats to reach a much broader audience and help ensure the group’s service dealer customers continue to distinguish themselves as some of the best-trained technicians in the industry.”
A complete program, Network U also offers high-tech apps that provide the latest technology, as well as training and support to technicians—right at their fingertips—so they can quickly enhance the customer-service experience at their respective shops.
“The Auto Pride membership continues its history of support for our group and the industry. The number of attendees grows each year,” said Cora Roark, director of Auto Pride. “That support is proof of concept of our program – a high-service, low-cost, customizable membership program.  The addition of a comprehensive training program like Network University continues our history of delivering value.”
