SMP taps TFI Envision for two more scholarship programs

Standard Motor Products, Inc. apped TFI Envision, Inc. again to help facilitate two more Automotive Scholarship programs - Blue Streak ‘Stronger Than Ever’ Automotive Scholarship Contest  and Standard ‘Bigger, Better Diesel’ Automotive Scholarship Contest.
Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) tapped TFI Envision, Inc. again to help facilitate two more Automotive Scholarship programs - Blue Streak® ‘Stronger Than Ever’ Automotive Scholarship Contest  and Standard® ‘Bigger, Better Diesel’ Automotive Scholarship Contest.
 The 2019 Blue Streak® ‘Stronger Than Ever’ Automotive Scholarship Contest will present four up-and-coming students with a $5,000 scholarship each. Students can enter by visiting BlueStreakScholarship.com, completing an online questionnaire, and submitting a recent photo of themselves. Judges will evaluate all entries based on relevance, creativity, and thoughtfulness relating to the automotive industry. The 2019 Standard® ‘Bigger, Better Diesel’ Automotive Scholarship Contest will present four deserving students with a $5,000 scholarship each. Students can enter by visiting BiggerBetterDiesel.com, completing an online questionnaire, and submitting a recent photo of themselves. Judges will evaluate entries based on relevance, creativity, and thoughtfulness relating to the automotive industry with an emphasis on diesel technology.

 
TFI Envision, Inc. was tapped by SMP in 2017 for Blue Streak® and in 2018 for Standard® Diesel, to develop the creative strategy for each including the development of promotional materials for direct mailings to the financial aid department of the top automotive tech schools in the country, a break room poster for trade school bulletin boards as well as traditional print and digital media in aftermarket media outlets. TFI Envision continues to work with SMP on the mailing of these materials, review of entries to determine qualifying entries, outreach and Liaison with the judges for the final selection.
 
Both programs are open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Eligible entrants must be between the ages of 18 and 34 and currently enrolled full-time in high school or in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or post-high school educational program. They must also have a current cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
 
The competitions run through May 31, 2019.
