Federal-Mogul has a new line of premium ceramic brake pads engineered specifically for today’s foreign nameplate and domestic passenger vehicles.
Federal-Mogul, the global leader in original equipment and aftermarket friction, has set a new benchmark for ceramic friction technology with a broad new line of premium ceramic brake pads engineered specifically for today’s foreign nameplate and domestic passenger vehicles. New Wagner ThermoQuiet® CeramicNXT brake pads were designed within the company’s global network of advanced research and development facilities serving the original equipment and replacement markets.

Wagner ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT brake pads feature highly advanced, proprietary formulations that represent the next generation of premium ceramic technology. At the core of these formulations is Dynamic Noise Absorption™ (DNA) technology that is integrated into the pad to target and absorb vibration at the point of contact for even quieter braking. These proprietary formulations also feature thermal-sensitive properties that adapt to the wide range of temperatures encountered in everyday driving conditions for consistent and superior stopping performance.

Wagner ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT formulations are combined with the other exclusive features of ThermoQuiet brake pads – including the Integrally Molded Insulator one-piece pad design and Laser Shaped Friction™ technology – to deliver “the ultimate ceramic brake pad.”

“As the leader in global friction, Federal-Mogul’s insight to the latest developments in OE braking systems provides us a unique advantage in designing game-changing technologies that meet the evolving needs of today’s drivers,” said Peter Murnen, global marketing director, friction products, Federal-Mogul Global Aftermarket.

New Wagner ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT brake pads are available for millions of foreign nameplate and domestic vehicles that were originally equipped with ceramic technology and as ceramic alternatives for select vehicles equipped with semi-metallic brake pads.
