"By incorporating ACES in Carfax QuickVIN, vehicle information can be seamlessly linked with other data solutions in the automotive service environment,” says Scott Luckett, chief information officer for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association. “AAIA applauds the choice Carfax made to engineer their tool around generally accepted industry standards.”

Carfax QuickVIN helps eliminate the risk of costly data entry errors and ensure correctly-fitting parts are ordered. The free tool is available to Carfax Service Network members and is built-in to most shop management systems.

Carfax QuickVIN also includes the original AAIA make/model table, but will cease updating those on Dec. 31, 2012.
