The “Industry Career Center,” located at www.mema.org/Industry-Career-Center and supported by the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) and other MEMA affiliates, has a new look and new features which improve its usefulness in connecting companies and job seekers within the motor vehicle parts supplier industry.

“The newly revamped “Industry Career Center” is one of the best sources for positions and professionals available in the automotive aftermarket and motor vehicle parts supplier industry,” says Steve Handschuh, president and COO of AASA. “It is a valuable resource for AASA member companies, the full service aftermarket suppliers, as they seek qualified candidates for positions.”

The Industry Career Center site displays available positions by market segment: automotive aftermarket, heavy duty, original equipment and remanufacturing. Professionals available are listed in a separate section.

The site’s new functionality allows users to search the site for positions or professionals by key words such as job title, market segment or position location, just to name a few.

Unlike other employment Web sites, there is no charge for member companies or professionals seeking jobs to post information at “Industry Career Center” – and the revised site makes it easier for both companies and professionals to post listings. The user enters information in an online form and chooses the length of time the listing will appear – 30, 60 or 90 days.
