The Auto Care Association has released the first in a series of animated Technology Minute online videos about the association’s widely adopted technology standards and best practices. The videos will foster awareness and understanding of the standards by presenting individual 60-second videos in simple, approachable terms that are appropriate for multiple audiences.

Each video covers one component of the association’s technology standards, providing a brief introduction, a summary of what the component does and explaining how it works with the other standards in the technology suite. The videos are particularly useful for current users of the standards, both to teach them how they can best utilize the standards for their business and to help them articulate the role of their standards in their everyday work.

“The goal of these videos is to tell the story of our standards, and how all the elements work together to improve companies’ bottom lines,” said Taylor Mitchell, senior director, technology standards, Auto Care Association. “We want to make it easier for the people who use them to get the most out of the standards, and help them explain to their bosses and colleagues how the standards are helping them improve supply chain efficiencies every day.”
