AutoZone turned to AT&T for a suite of mobile and broadband solutions for its U.S. stores, call centers, and back-end offices.  AT&T will deliver seamless connectivity with voice, Internet and mobility solutions as part of a multiyear, multimillion dollar agreement.

Better customer experience and a more reliable network are just a few of the improvements expected at more than 5,000 AutoZone locations in the United States as a result of a new multiyear, multimillion dollar agreement with AT&T*.

AutoZone turned to AT&T for a suite of mobile and broadband solutions for its U.S. stores, call centers, and back-end offices.  AT&T will deliver seamless connectivity with voice, Internet and mobility solutions designed to keep business operations running smoothly and improve customer satisfaction.

"We're always looking for ways to make our business more efficient and better serve our customers," said Bill Rhodes, chairman, president & CEO, AutoZone. "That's why we teamed up with AT&T to implement a unified broadband and mobile network solution that will serve as the foundation for improving the in-store experience for our customers and our AutoZoners."

With AT&T's integrated solutions, AutoZone says it will benefit from:

•   AT&T's fast and reliable network in U.S. and Mexico retail locations that will provide robust network reporting capabilities.

•   Predictability and stability of bandwidth capacity to help support voice, Internet and data at the same time.

•   A simplified store architecture with fewer points of failure.

•   Virtual line capacity that flexes dynamically. It changes according to need versus a fixed number of lines. AutoZone can answer more customer calls with AT&T's Unified Communications (UC) Voice solution.

•   A call reporting system that provides near real-time analytics for advanced decision-making.

•   AT&T's wireless backup solution for fast recovery in event of an outage.

"The old ways of doing business are changing, especially in the retail space.  More industry leaders, like AutoZone, are using our integrated solutions to remain competitive," said Cathy Martine, president, AT&T Enterprise Business Solutions. "Our job is to deliver solutions that are tailored to the needs of our customers and effortless for them to use."
