More than 400 companies from Brazil, China, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and the U.K. will showcase their latest auto parts and accessories at ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2015 this February.

With a 60% increase in the number of exhibitors, the fair has been completely booked two months before it is scheduled to take place from February 26 to March 1, 2015 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The occupied space marks a 90% increase compared to the launch edition of the show in 2013. International participation has also soared by 34% due to steady sales and growing auto component market in the country.

Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd are focused on setting-up a professional, world-class platform to provide domestic aftermarket players access to core component technologies including engine parts, drive transmission and steering parts, body and chassis, tires & batteries, suspension and braking parts, equipment and electrical parts, accessories & tuning besides others and facilitate closer collaboration between global auto component and Indian aftermarket sector players.

Key exhibitors representing these segments at the New Delhi fair include ANG Industries, ZF India, Luk India and Shriram Pistons who will have parts & components such as power train, chassis & standard parts on display whereas Delphi Automotive Systems Pvt. Ltd will showcase their range of fuel modules – MRA & pumps, ignition wire sets, thermal compressors, heat exchangers, brakes, and half shafts at the show.

Leading auto component supplier, Mansons International Pvt Ltd intends to bring anti-vibration, axle and suspension components, body parts, steering components and repair kits and fifth wheel components and repair kits while Setco Automotive Ltd will showcase clutches for medium & heavy vehicles. Completing this impressive list of automotive giants at the fair, Bosch, one of the largest suppliers of automotive parts and
systems to the automotive industry has signed on as the Platinum Partner for the 2nd edition. Guenter Weber, Regional President – Automotive Aftermarket, Bosch Ltd, India said: “The Automechanika in Germany attracts all leading OEMs and Component Manufacturers from across the globe and has attracted millions of customers year after year. This is a great initiative to introduce the same platform in India wherein the Indian audience can experience world-class innovations and solutions in automotive technology and we are proud to be associated as the Platinum Partner for the event.”

Commenting on Bosch’s expanding service portfolios, Weber added: “ACMA Automechanika New Delhi’s constant effort to push automotive technology forward reflects our company’s core strategy ‘Parts, Bytes & Services’ while we are also looking at launching few products, test equipment and service concepts during the show”.

In addition to sourcing and networking opportunities, the Indian fair has organized a seminar that is scheduled alongside the exhibition on February 27 and will bring together noted industry experts from India and overseas to share their valuable insights and international best practices in the key areas of R&D and innovation, advancements in mechatronic systems, sustainable mobility, fuel efficiency, emerging export markets etc. The one-day conference will also shed light on road safety in dark hours and the changing mind-set of the Indian Auto-Components Industry from “Build-to- print” to “Build-to-intent”.

A burgeoning middle class with spending power & upward mobility along with India’s growing focus on vehicle safety assessments is set to stimulate demand for auto parts business and safety technologies. With Indian car buyers getting younger and used car market gaining momentum, demand in the automotive aftermarket is expected to gain further traction in 2015. Focusing purely on the needs of the growing aftermarket sector, ACMA Automechanika New Delhi will thus make an important sourcing destination for new ideas, tools and industry insights.
