Centric Parts isn’t stopping with its brake technology, unveiling during AAPEX 2017 its latest flagship offering, the Posi Quiet Pro.

“This is going to be a flagship brand of Centric and Posi Quiet going forward,” said Dan Billie, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

With a Tuesday morning press conference, company executives announced the new product line that includes around 1,200 SKUs and 99 percent coverage.

The company, known for its “from lab to lift” approach to parts and technology,

Greg Woo, president of Centric, Qualis and StopTech, explained during the announcement the four main attributes of the Posi Quiet Pro:

• Mu500 is a state of the art chemical compound applied to pads to elevate pad friction to remove the bed-in process.

• OptiCheck visual reference lines that allow a technician to look for the white stripe without removing the wheel. “You can make a recommendation without taking the wheel off,” Woo said.

• Vehicle spec friction assistant, meaning technicians easily can find the best pad for every application in one line.

• True to the Posi Quiet name, the rubber steel and rubber point layers. As Woo notes, if you are selling the flagship name, you don’t want the customer coming back and complaining of noise.

Posi Quiet Pro is one of several lines being displayed at AAPEX along with GCX and Tactical Police and Pursuit.

“We try to innovate and incorporate design that makes us different,” Billie said.
