“The acquisition of Patriot Paint adds to our product and market offerings in our overall objective to provide the industrial and transportation markets with a variety of solutions for how to protect and treat all metal substrates,” said David Brunori, Executive Vice President Quest Specialty Coatings. The addition of Patriot Paint to the Quest family will help to strengthen the overall foundation and product scope that is currently being offered.

From zero V.O.C., anti-corrosive transportation coatings to multilayer decorative systems for metal caskets, Patriot Paint has become recognized for its specialized, environmentally-sensitive, low- cost solutions for almost any metal substrate application.

Quest Specialty Coatings is a manufacturer in the aftermarket automotive paint industry supplying paints, primers, hardeners, clearcoats and reducers. QSC said it is committed to developing, manufacturing and shipping products in a manner that minimizes environmental impact.

Quest Specialty Chemicals, founded by industry executives CEO Fred Quinn and President/COO Gerry Loftus in 2004 is a manufacturer of specialty coatings for the building industry, automotive, and OEM industrial coatings, including aerosols, with operational headquarters located in Menomonee Falls, Wis.

Since 2004 Quest Specialty Chemicals has completed nine acquisitions.
