GEICO awards $25,000 to schools through CREF

Each of the winning schools was an applicant of the recent Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant.
The Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) recently announced the winners of the GEICO Philanthropic Foundation school grants at the Foundation Industry Reception held at SEMA in Las Vegas. Each of the winning schools was an applicant of the recent Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant. Each will receive $5,000 to purchase items from the wish list on their applications. The winners include:


“We are honored to support such a worthy cause,” says Bill DeGrocco, assistant vice president of GEICO. “With the continued complexity of today’s automobile we know how important it is to develop the appropriate skills, have the proper equipment and technical education in auto collision repair.  We are happy to support these schools.”
