3M is expanding its 3M™ Perfect-It™ Quick Connect System with new six-inch pads for contoured panels, large and small panels, hard-to-reach spots and recessed areas.
Time is money in a body shop, and every innovation that improves productivity is a welcome addition to a repair technician’s toolbox. That’s why 3M Automotive Aftermarket is expanding its 3M™ Perfect-It™ Quick Connect System with new six-inch pads for contoured panels, large and small panels, bumpers, door jambs, hard-to-reach spots and recessed areas. The 3M Perfect-It Quick Connect System features interchangeable, self-centering pads that can beused for any polishing job, large or small. The 3M Perfect-It Quick Connect System reduces wobbling, eliminates single-sided pad fly-offs and allows the technician to easily attach pads using the patented 3M™ Quick Connect Adaptor. The new six-inch pads join the nine-inch pads to provide technicians the best solution for all of their polishing needs. The six-inch 3M™ Perfect-It™ pads are available in traditional tufted wool and low lint wool, as well as high-quality foam. 3M Automotive Aftermarket tested the new six-inch pads with several body repair shops that were using traditional-sized pads with the 3M Perfect-It Quick Connect System, and nearly 80 percent of repair technicians said they would use the new pads in addition to the nine-inch pads. “The 3M Perfect-It Quick Connect System has been a great innovation for repair technicians who want speed and productivity on their polishing jobs combined with excellent results,” said Mike Conway, Marketing Manager for Vehicle Appearance Markets for 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division.  “Now, with the addition of the six-inch pads, we can provide interchangeable solutions for every polishing job.” Contact 1-877-MMM-CARS or your local 3M Distributor or 3M Sales Representative for more information, visit the website at www.3MCollision.com and “Like” 3M Collision on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/3MCollision.About 3M 3M captures the spark of new ideas and transforms them into thousands of ingenious products.
