What it takes to stand out in marketing

Using marketing ideas outlined in this free webinar from NAPA AutoCare, you can understand the importance of marketing and become better at implementing programs that work.

Every shop owner struggles with marketing at some point. Many, unfortunately, also are quick to cut this line of the budget when car count slows.

That actually is the opposite of what should be done. And using some ideas outlined in this free webinar from NAPA AutoCare, you can understand the importance of marketing and become better at implementing programs that work.

Emily Beetler, program brand specialist with NAPA, explains there are five good ways to make your marketing plan successful:
• Branding and co-branding
• Implementing digital vehicle inspection programs
• Utilizing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
• Use multiple marketing platforms
• Offer a warranty

For those final two points, they can go hand-in-hand. Multiple platforms include digital options, postcards and mailers as well as social media. These all are ways to promote the warranty you offer customers. Giving your customers peace of mind shows that you care for them and their safety, Beetler adds.

And even if car count is low, by making all five of these points a part of your overall plan you won’t be able to cut this part of your budget – which is a good thing.

If you find that one aspect is not working, try another, Beetler suggests. “There is a variety out there for you to select.”

Find what works in your area and build on that. You can learn more about marketing and creating a solid plan in the free webinar “Marketing Gold” from NAPA AutoCare available now. Watch the webinar by clicking here.
