SEMA Battle of the Builders 2015 to premier on Velocity

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) and Velocity announced the world television premiere of the one-hour special SEMA: BATTLE OF THE BUILDERS 2015 on Monday, February 1 at 10 PM ET.

Featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the 2015 trade-only SEMA Show, and in-depth interviews with leading car designers, SEMA: BATTLE OF THE BUILDERS 2015  chronicles the best automotive designers and builders in the world as they prepare to debut their newest creations for thousands of car super fans at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. 

In just its second year, the 2015 SEMA Battle of the Builders competition included nearly 300 builders representing all segments of the automotive industry including hot rods, off road vehicles and sport compact cars. The finalists were selected by David Freiburger of Hot Rod Magazine, RJ de Vera of Meguiar’s, and Fred Williams from Petersen's 4Wheel & Off Road. After the judges announced theTop Ten finalists, the Top Ten builders then judged one another and voted to determine who would be named the Ultimate Builder of the 2015 SEMA Battle of the Builders competition.

The winner was revealed during SEMA Ignited, a consumer facing event held on the final day of the trade-only SEMA Show concludes.

The SEMA Battle of the Builders competition and Velocity’s SEMA: BATTLE OF THE BUILDERS 2015 celebrate the unique aftermarket industry and the people dedicated to their craft.
