As part of its celebration of 150 years of service, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes, in conjunction with leading vehicle refinish products supplier 3M Repair Solutions, announced and presented today the winner of its new Ford F-150 pickup truck giveaway, for its grand prize in the company’s “150th Celebration” sweepstakes. Harold and Shelly Swan, owners of Affordable Auto Body and Paint in Loveland, Colo., were announced as the winners of the Ford F-150 sweepstakes. The truck was presented at a special ceremony on Nov. 30 at Sherwin-Williams’ Fort Collins Colo., Automotive Finishes Store.

It’s not an ordinary pickup truck, however. The supercharged Roush Performance F-150 XLT includes a 5.0 liter V8-powered engine in Ford’s new aluminum-bodied F-150, enhanced with a host of body components and Roush graphics. The truck also features a custom paint job marking Sherwin-Williams’ 150th anniversary.

“We are pleased to award Harold and Shelly with their new Ford F-150,” said Steve Spirko, Director of Marketing, Associated Products for Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “We could think of no better way to continue the celebration of Sherwin-Williams’ 150th anniversary of service than to give away such an amazing truck.”

The high performance engine and customization was signed by racing legend Jack Roush, also head of ROUSH Industries, Inc., a Tier One supplier of fully integrated engineering and development support services to the worldwide automotive industry.

2016 marked a milestone for Sherwin-Williams as America’s #1 paint company honored its 150th anniversary. For a century and a half, Sherwin-Williams has been a groundbreaking pioneer in the coatings industry. Throughout the year, Sherwin-Williams celebrated its 150th anniversary by highlighting the company’s long-standing commitment to innovation, color and community.

While there was no purchase necessary to enter the year-long contest, there were several ways for collision repair professionals to enter by purchasing select 3M repair products from Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes network of almost 200 stores. The Swans were selected as the winner by random drawing.
