Refinish Distributors Alliance hosts spring IMPACT conference in Denver

RDA held their Spring Membership Meeting March 21- 23 at the Embassy Suites Downtown Denver, Colo. The Conference was a great success! Once again they had record turnout, which included RDA Members, Manufacturer Partners, and valued Guests.

The meeting opened with round table discussions followed by a Welcome Reception at Stout Street Social. The next day, everyone enjoyed the '2nd annual Rodeo', an engaging and productive speed-dating event between RDA Members & Manufacturer Partners that offered special promos and lots of valuable prizes for participants. Keynote Speaker, Mark Sanborn gave an insightful presentation followed by a book signing provided to all attendees. RDA ended the evening with a Speakeasy Casino night with plenty of fun, excitement and raffles.

Executive Director Robert McKenzie Jr. said, “The objective of our meeting was to provide valuable information on the future of the Independent Distributor and how to plan and be prepared for these changes. I want thank both Tom Hablitzel of Sherwin Williams/Valspar, and Kevin Belicki of SEM who gave excellent presentations with key take a ways to the RDA members on this topic. I also want to thank all of our supporting manufacturers who sponsored this event making it such a success.” 

RDA/IMPACT is the largest national group of refinish jobbers dedicated to providing quality services and products to their collision shops.  RDA has 18 members, representing over 200 locations. Members service over 4000 collision centers throughout the United States. We represent a cross-section of all major refinish brands and do over $485 million in sales as a group, comprising around 18% of the refinish business nationwide.
