B-TEC Systems introduces new infrared curing equipment range

Oct. 22, 2015
B-TEC Systems introduces a new range of short wave infrared equipment in the USA.

A new range of short wave infrared equipment is being introduced in the USA.

The B-TEC Systems infrared range has been highly successful in Europe and will now be available to American customers. The range has a model for all applications, from a small 500 watt unit used for minor repairs to a 6000 watt unit for multi- panel work. The flagship unit, IR-B03-T (pictured below) has been on test in the USA and the curing performance has been impressive. Urethane high build primers are getting fully cured in only 12 minutes, ready to sand. The other impressive thing is the unit’s running cost, reported to be only $0.10 cents per bake cycle.

Jim Stubert of B-TEC USA, LLC commented, “We are really excited about this product and look forward to mirroring the success we have had in Europe. We have recruited the services of Peter Phillipson, who was the Vice President of Trisk for many years. Peter is very highly regarded in the infrared refinishing business and he will be driving the infrared activities for us in his role as Manager, Technical Sales & Marketing.

B-TEC USA, LLC will be appointing select distributors to handle the new range. If you would like to find out more about the B-TEC Systems infrared products or would like to be considered as a distributor, please contact Jim Stubert (email: [email protected] / office: (480) 621-5304). www.bteccleaners.com
