The Boyd Group announced the opening of a new 15,000- square foot collision repair center in Orlando, Fla.

It previously operated as Colonial Auto Body and now operates under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name. With this addition, the Boyd Group owns and operates 37 repair centers in Florida, which brings the total number of U.S. locations to 180.

"We continue to grow our presence in Florida, as we open our 14th location in the Greater Orlando Area," said Tim O'Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations. "We strongly believe that Florida is an attractive market for the Boyd Group. The new location on Amelia Street helps expands the Gerber brand and allows us to better serve customers and insurance partners in the Orlando metro market."

The Boyd Group operates locations in the four Western Canadian provinces under the trade name Boyd Autobody & Glass, as well as in 14 U.S. states under the trade names Gerber Collision & Glass, Pearl Auto Body, The Recovery Room, and Autocrafters. The Company also operates Gerber National Glass Services, an auto glass repair and replacement referral business with approximately 3,000 affiliated service providers throughout the United States.
