FinishMaster has donated $60,000 in products to five automotive collision schools through the I-CAR Education Foundation.

Each of the schools will receive a kit valued at $12,000 which includes supplies from the suggested NATEF tool and equipment list. The kits will be distributed by the end of the year to ensure they are in the hands of the schools in time for their spring 2010 semester.

The FinishMaster school kit recipients include:

  • Atlantic Technical Center (Coconut Creek, Fla.)

  • H. Grady Spruce High School (Dallas, Texas)

  • Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School (Fitchburg, Mass.)

  • Ranken Technical College (Saint Louis, Mo.)

  • Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology (Lancaster, Pa.)

I-CAR Education Foundation Executive Director Scott Kruger notes, “In these economic times automotive collision schools are in dire need of support, both monetarily and product donations, to keep their programs going for the students. Thanks to FinishMaster’s generosity five schools from across the country will be assisted with these supply kits and this will in turn help the educational experience for the students, the future of our industry.”

“Training and education are the backbones for the next generation of PBE technicians, and FinishMaster is proud to support the I-CAR Education Foundation and technical schools as they prepare for the Spring semester,” says J.A. Lacy, president and CEO of FinishMaster.
