Klabunde brings experience in banking and small business accounting to the new position. A summa cum laude graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University (where she was a two-time first team Academic All-American volleyball player), Klabunde worked as a CPA and eventually gained collision repair industry experience overseeing the finances of a large collision repair business in the Chicago area.

“It was through her work with that shop that I discovered the skills and strengths Kirstin has in helping shop owners make sense of their financial tools,” Anderson said. “Over about three years, I put her in touch with other shops that she consulted with to improve their profit-and-loss statements and other financial records that really made a difference for their businesses. That’s why I was pleased to have Kirstin join my team full-time.”

Klabunde is an Accredited Automotive Manager through the Automotive Management Institute, and a Quickbooks Pro Advisor.

She is available for hourly or monthly dial-in consulting services or onsite consulting for such services as:

  • set-up or clean-up of a chart of accounts;
  • review of account mapping from management systems to accounting systems;
  • analytical review of current profit-and-loss statements and balance sheets to identify areas for improvement;
  • training of bookkeeping staff in accounting for collision repair facilities including adjustments for work-in-process; and,
  • working with management to develop key performance indicators to monitor the financial health of the company.

She can be reached via the collisionadvice.com website or by email directly at Kirstin@coll isionadvice.com.
