CCC Information Services announced Oct. 11 the availability of CCC ONE Tablet – for use with the iPad 3.

This latest mobile release expands the CCC ONE Mobile solution by extending beyond the current smartphone functionality to the larger tablet device accommodating more information on the screen and allowing repairers to do more at the vehicle. CCC ONE Tablet offers productivity improvements for CCC ONE Repair Workflow users and comes included for all CCC ONE customers as part of their current package, the company said. CCC’s mobile solutions are in use by more than 12,500 repairers.
“Since introducing our first mobile solution in late 2010, our repair customers have asked for more; more functionality and in more mobile formats,” said Jim Dickens, SVP of CCC’s Automotive Services Group. “The introduction of the Tablet solution is a natural extension of CCC’s mobile strategy as it gives our customers a larger, easier to read screen from which to capture customer information, view the estimate and manage production, making it easy to move vehicles through the repair process. Early feedback on the Tablet has been very positive, and we’re only just getting started with the tools we can put at the fingertips of our customers.”
Users of CCC ONE Estimating can use their iPad 3 to scan the VIN, capture administrative information and take photos all from the same device. And because CCC ONE is a hosted solution, the information captured is immediately available at the estimator’s desk.
