The paint and material estimation/invoicing application was built by ComputerLogic and is the culmination of years of input gathered from hundreds of paint and material manufacturers, industry training experts and auto body repair professionals.

PMCLogic is a software application that enables collision repair specialists to track and invoice all paint and materials used during repairs. Users can estimate the costs of paints and materials used while replacing, repairing and/or refinishing body panels and/or structural section of the vehicle.

ComputerLogic’s group of collision industry experts has benchmarked a specific list of the materials used on the replaced or repaired panel or structural part for accurate estimates.

“CARS shareholders have, for years, expressed concerns about the price increases incurred each year for paint and material products and the lag time in recovering these costs as they occur,” said Orville Manuel, executive director of CARS Cooperative, in a statement. “The antiquated system used for determining compensation for paint and materials dictates an extended timeframe, weeks, months or even years, for the methodology to provide an adequate increase.
