“Our goal has always been to offer a standardized, one-stop source for critical OEM requirements to the collision industry. This brings us one step closer to that goal,” said Douglas Gan, COO of the company. “With the addition of Mercedes to the database, we offer the single most exhaustive source for airbag service information available today.”

AirbagSolutions.com is a web-based database, accessed by subscription, and covers vehicles from 1988 through 2013. The database is presented in a copyrighted photographic format rather than dropdown screens or pencil sketches so users see which components are required and where they are located.

This allows users to virtually eliminate supplements, simplify airbag system repairs and reduce cycle times. Additional information including light resetting, wire repair and possible peripheral damage are also included in the database, making it the most complete airbag service resource available.

“We utilize Airbag Solutions on a regular basis,” said an insurance industry expert. “It’s a great tool for finding the auto manufacturer’s published information in one easy to use location. We also like the actual photographs of each component, which are extremely helpful in identifying the required replacement components. I just learned today that one popular manufacturer that was missing in Airbag Solutions’ database, Mercedes-Benz, has now been added. That was good news and makes for a very comprehensive product.”

www.AirbagSolutions.com is a web- based subscription database that provides a standardized, photographic presentation of restraint system information. The database covers more than 4,500 vehicles from 1988-2012.
