BASF brings automotive refinish solutions to NACE/CARS

BASF will present its latest products and processes at NACE/CARS, July 31-Aug. 2 in Detroit.
1954 Chevy “Cool-Air” Bel-Air, designed by Chip Foose for Wes Rydell, will be featured in the BASF booth.

BASF Automotive Refinish will exhibit and present its latest products and processes at the 2014 International Autobody Congress and Exposition Expo & Conference (NACE / CARS) – the largest North American conference and exhibition dedicated to the auto collision and service repair industries – from July 30 through August 2 at Cobo Center in Detroit.

The company will also host autograph sessions on July 31 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and August 1 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. with the star of Overhaulin’ and owner of Foose Design, Chip Foose. A restyled Wes Rydell 1954 Chevy “Cool Air” Bel-Air from Foose painted in BASF’s Glasurit® 90-Line will be on display at the BASF booth #18008.

In addition, Chip Foose is conducting a paint demonstration with BASF Glasurit 90-Line on Friday, Aug. 1 at noon in Cobo Center.

As part of the conference program, Hans Kempf, Training Manager from BASF will discuss Advanced Color Adjustment Tools & Techniques on Friday, August 1. BASF will also sponsor the Collision Repair Executive Symposium (CRES), held on Friday, August 1 during the expo.
