Stacy started in the collision industry in 1972 sweeping floors. By 1981 he owned his own collision repair shop in Ohio after a tour with the Army serving as an Army Airborne Ranger. Stacy became one of the early adopters to fully computerize his operation after attending a 3M ARMS Seminar in 1985. Stacy was involved with I-CAR as a coordinator, ASA of Ohio where he served on the board, and local Vo-Tech advisory councils. In 1992, Stacy sold his body shop operation and joined CCC Information Services to help bring their industry changing Estimating Solution(EZEst/EZNet) to the collision industry.
