In addition to opening three new collision centers and the company’s first mechanical shop in the spring, October and November brought Nu-Look three prestigious awards. In the fall, Nu-Look Collision was recognized as one of Rochester’s fastest growing companies for the 2013 year, a distinction given to only one hundred privately owned businesses. Nu-Look was also presented with another two awards after public voting allowed members of the community to choose their favorite local businesses from several categories, including Best Auto Body Repair Shop.
In November, Nu-Look Collision was honored as one of Rochester’s Top 100 fastest-growing, privately owned companies. Now in its 28th year, the Rochester Top 100 program held by the Rochester Business Alliance selects and ranks businesses based on dollar and percentage revenue increases over the past three fiscal years. Nu-Look’s sustained growth and superior performance in the 2013 fiscal year earned them that recognition for the fifth time since the program began.
“Being chosen for this award is a testament to the dedication of every employee in this company,” stated Nu-Look president, Todd Zigrossi. “There are thousands of businesses based in Rochester, and for a collision center to be recognized as one of the Top 100 companies is a huge accomplishment that we’re incredibly proud of. We look forward to continued growth, and hopefully many more Top 100 awards.”
In addition to being honored in the business realm, Nu-Look was also the recipient of two awards chosen by public opinion. The City Newspaper and the Democrat & Chronicle newspaper each hold annual “Best Of Rochester” awards in which members of the Rochester and surrounding communities are invited to vote for their favorite businesses via ballots submitted online and through traditional mail. In October, The City Newspaper announced that Nu-Look had been voted first place through more than 10,000 reader submissions.
In November, Nu-Look Collision received the Democrat & Chronicle’s Rochester’s Choice Award for Best Auto Repair Shop. This marks the thirteenth consecutive year Nu-Look has been given the award.
