IBIS to present MSO best practices

April 18, 2014
IBIS 2014 in Barcelona, Spain is themed “Best Practice” and will address MSO staff relation issues, retail models and the future of the industry.
The International Bodyshop Industry Symposium – IBIS – is returning to the fantastic Hotel Arts, Barcelona on May 19-21, 2014. The cultural capital of Spain, Barcelona has proven itself as the IBIS destination of recent years. IBIS 2014 is themed ‘Best Practice’, with a packed agenda of speakers from around the world. These leading minds in the global body repair industry will take to the stage and answer key questions that are important to U.S. MSOs:
  • How can I meet MSOs from outside North America to validate whether or not our model can be improved?
  • How can I ensure I have the right people at my stores and I am building the right leadership programme for the future?
  • Can the bodyshop with the largest output in the world still engage staff and produce consistent quality?
  • As an MSO, what other retail models are there that we should consider?
  • What impact is the connected car going to have on my business in the future?
  • What does the bodyshop of the future look like?

The three day event begins with the networking Welcome Reception on Monday, May 19.

As an added bonus on the evening of May 19 after the Welcome Reception, ABRN will be hosting a special dinner event exclusively for U.S.-based MSOs with VP/GM of ABRN Jim Savas!

The conference begins on Tuesday, with the daytime dominated by thought leadership discussions and knowledge sharing. In the evening, the International Dinner takes delegates to the stunning Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya for an evening of fine food, drink, entertainment and company set to the backdrop of breath-taking views over the city of Barcelona.

Wednesday, May 21 will see the final half day of the conference before a last chance to catch up with your peers at the Leavers’ Lunch.

Places are still available from just £1,750, ($2,900 USD), including two nights' accommodation at the Pullman Skipper luxury hotel.
