General manager named at CARSTAR Metcalf

Reese Brunette joins CARSTAR’s corporate leadership team as the general manager for CARSTAR Metcalf.
CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts, North America’s largest multi-shop operator network (MSO), is looking toward how collision repair shops will operate in the future as it expands the staffing and leadership at its flagship corporate research and development facility, CARSTAR Metcalf, located in Stilwell, KS. Reese Brunette joins CARSTAR’s corporate leadership team as the general manager for CARSTAR Metcalf, bringing aproven operational background and expertise in the implementation on system-wide technology platforms. Brunette has more than 10 years of experience in the collision industry.  He most recently served as a senior industry consultant for Suburban Auto-Body in St. Paul, MN.  He also worked for ABRA Auto Body and Glass for five years as an estimator, then as a general manager in ABRA’s high-volume shops, where he helped implement Mitchell ABSe.  In addition, Brunette worked for a five-chain MSO in Minnesota as multi-unit general manager. He is I-CAR certified. As the general manager of CARSTAR Metcalf, Brunette will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, leading the production and administration teams, delivering performance targets, leading  CARSTAR’s research and development, and working with the Operations team on implementing the CARSTAR EDGE Performance programs.
