Progressive worked together with local NABC member body shops to recycle and donate vehicles that have been damaged in an accident. CARSTAR Scola’s Collision Center expertly rebuilt this Chevy Equinox at their own expense, and with parts donated by vendors. Rebuilding this vehicle is a special show of appreciation for the shop.
Jacob Crawford, the recipient, works for the State Service Office. Crawford is a veteran helping other veterans with their benefits and developing claims.
"I ride my bike to the train station where I catch a train to meet these veterans who are limited in their travels due to their disabilities,” said Crawford, an eight-year U.S. Air Force veteran. “This vehicle will not only help me but it will help a lot veterans and their families. I am truly grateful. I travel close to two hundred miles a week."
The event was especially meaningful for CARSTAR Scolas owner Lou Scola.
"Being a six year veteran myself, it's very satisfying being able to give back, especially to a fellow veteran who is doing such noble work", said Scola, who served in the U.S. Navy.
