Hi-Tech CARSTAR 6th Avenue is now open at 4408 6th Avenue in Tacoma, WA, and is owned by Tracey and Shaun Copeland. This is the fifth CARSTAR location for the Copelands. In addition to the new 6th Avenue store, they also own Hi-Tech CARSTAR in Spanaway, WA, Hi-Tech CARSTAR East Side in Tacoma, WA, Parkland Collision CARSTAR in Tacoma, WA, and Fred’s Autobody CARSTAR in Hoquiam, WA.
“We’re growing as an MSO, trying to spread out, trying to get out a little farther,” said Copeland. We wanted to pick up some more zip codes, and better cover our area.”
Hi-Tech CARSTAR 6th Avenue is located within a short distance of three of the Copeland’s other four locations. The addition of another shop in the same area will help increase the efficiency and customer experience for the entire MSO.
“Four shops are within 10 miles of each other, so we can load level,” said Shaun Copeland. “If you have some extra techs not busy at one shop, you can juggle some work around, when possible.”
