PartsTrader completes expansion into four new markets

Jan. 1, 2020
PartsTrader has expanded into four new states.
In an ongoing effort to update the collision repair industry on the expansion progress of PartsTrader, the company is pleased to announce the expansion of the application into four new states. As of today, PartsTrader has launched or expanded the use of PartsTrader in selected markets in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. This brings the total number of states with active markets to eight, including the five prior test markets. Any repairer has access to the PartsTrader application in these markets. "We've enjoyed meeting with the repairers and suppliers in each of these markets over the last several months," said Dale Sailer, PartsTrader's Vice President of Business Development.  "Our team is fully focused on servicing these new territories and working to make the transition to the platform as seamless as we can for our customers." Prior to the expansion in each new state, PartsTrader held training and overview sessions for repairers and suppliers within each market, as well as weekly webinar sessions. In addition, improvements were made within the PartsTrader application to allow customers an easier way to view and track their utilization of the online tutorial videos. "We know that each repairer and supplier has a need for ongoing training around the program. Beyond the initial rollouts, turnover and personnel changes create the need for on demand training that is trackable by a user," added Sailer. With the enhanced training program, a user can now see each available training video along with the estimated time needed to complete each course. This feature allows the user to choose training that fits their schedule. In addition, the website now tracks which sessions are completed to assist in managing the training path. Along with the changes to training, PartsTrader has also enhanced the Feedback and Ratings features for suppliers and repairers, and introduced a VIN decode option to increase the ease of use during the supplier quoting process. PartsTrader continues to be committed to improving the platform and the overall user experience based on customer feedback.About PartsTrader LLC™ PartsTrader is a web-based collision replacement parts market connecting OEM, aftermarket, remanufactured, specialized and recycled automotive parts suppliers with collision repairers looking for replacement parts.
