Feb. 23, 2015
Kemper Corporation has been recognized as an I-CAR Insurance Gold Class business at the corporate level, a reflection of the organization’s companywide commitment to ongoing training of its appraiser staff.
I-CAR®, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, announced today that Kemper Corporation (NYSE: KMPR) has been recognized as an Insurance Gold Class® business at the corporate level, a reflection of the organization’s companywide commitment to ongoing training of its appraiser staff.

“I-CAR is thrilled to recognize Kemper as an Insurance Gold Class business. Kemper’s Gold Class achievement will enable its appraisers to work even more collaboratively with collision repair facilities, which will support performance of complete, safe and quality repairs for the ultimate benefit of the consumer,” explained I-CAR Director, Segment Development – Insurance, Elise Quadrozzi, CPCU, AIC, AM, ARP, AU.

Kemper joins an elite group of 16 Insurers that have achieved I-CAR's Insurance Gold Class business recognition at the corporate level through their commitment to ongoing Auto Physical Damage Appraiser training in I-CAR's Professional Development Program™.  This list can be found on the Insurance page of the I-CAR website.

The training that leads to Gold Class recognition can help insurance organizations improve claims accuracy, increase customer satisfaction, and further develop knowledgeable staff who interface more effectively with customers and repairers. To maintain Gold Class status, insurance companies must continue to train their appraisers every year so that they further expand their knowledge and stay current with changing vehicle technologies.

“Kemper is dedicated to providing superior claims service that is among the best in the industry. We are committed to the I-CAR vision that every person in the collision repair industry has the information, knowledge and skills required to perform complete, safe and quality repairs for the ultimate benefit of the consumer,” said John Potratz, Kemper’s Director, Material Damage Claim.
