Permanent General Companies chose Mitchell as its exclusive provider of auto physical damage claims processing solutions. The Permanent General Companies, which operate in direct distribution channels under the brand name The General, is an insurance group that handles many nonstandard or specialty policies.

Under the terms of the agreement, the company will leverage Mitchell's WorkCenter solution, an end-to-end, physical damage claims settlement workspace for handling claims triage, assignment, resource look-up, repairable estimating, total loss valuation, review, compliance, and reporting.
