AASP-MN announces new board of directors, golf outing

April marks the beginning of service for the 2012–2013 Alliance of Automotive Service Providers - Minnesota (AASP-MN) Board of Directors. New additions to the board are Mike Cox, Ed’s Collision Center, Maple Grove; Steve Weisenberger, Luther Collision Group; and returning former board member Tom Gleason, Pro-Tech Auto Repair in Corcoran.

The new officers are President John Ritter, Jr., Highland Autostar Collision, St. Paul, and Secretary-Treasurer, Dan Sjolseth, Superior Service Center in Eagan. Tom Aldridge of Dale Feste Automotive in Hopkins continues on the board as immediate past president, and will be joined by: Mechanical Division Director, Scott McClure, St. Paul Automotive, St. Paul; Collision Division Director, Jerald Stiele, Hopkins Auto Body, Hopkins; and Associate Division Director, Patrick McKinney, AAA Auto Salvage, Rosemount.

AASP-MN thanked outgoing board members Roger Bonn, Peter’s Body Shop, St. Cloud; Joanne LaMettry, LaMettry’s Collision, Twin Cities; and Rich Udenberg, Cannon Auto Repair, Cannon Falls.

The new board will be installed during the AASP-MN Annual Meeting & Convention April 13 at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West in Plymouth.

AASP-MN also invites all collision and mechanical industry professionals to attend its 18th annual golf outing, June 19 at 3M’s Tartan Park Golf Course in Lake Elmo. More than 150 AASP-MN members, employees, vendors and insurance industry representatives are expected to participate.

Play will begin at noon, followed by a social hour and awards presentation. The cost to participate is $100 per golfer or $400 per foursome. Golf holes are available to sponsor for $300 each.
